Meghan Halleron joined Vista in 2014 and truly enjoys helping students and their families navigate the college admissions process. Meghan holds a B.A in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. As a law student, Meghan was the academic tutor for Civil Procedure and helped students study and prepare for a challenging first year class. After graduating from law school, Meghan practiced Corporate Real Estate law at Katten Muchin & Zavis in Chicago and Arnold & Porter in New York, where she spent many long days and nights writing memos and revising documents.
As the oldest of seven children and now a mother of four, including one teenager, Meghan understands that each individual’s strengths must be brought into focus and continually highlighted throughout the college application process, from initial selection of potential colleges to admittance. Meghan has witnessed how competitive high school and college have become and knows how taxing the experience can be on both students and their parents. She believes that understanding the whole student and focusing on his or her strengths is essential to finding a school that will enable the student to thrive.
Meghan lives in Winnetka with her husband and children. She loves watching her four children engage in their extracurriculars and, in her free time, likes to play paddle and read literary fiction.
